Heat flux distribution model and transient temperature field analysis in grinding of helical raceway

To solve the problem of low processing efficiency screw helical raceway by using high-efficiency grinding technology, this paper carried out theoretical, simulation, and experimental analyses on temperature which mainly affects selection process parameters. First, based distribution characteristics allowance raceway, analysis shows that geometry contact area is trapezoidal. Then, existing triangular heat flux model rectangular area, two models triangle concave are proposed according to trapezoidal area. Finally, plane experiment was correct simulation parameters, modified parameters were used predict so as achieve maximum removal avoid burns. The results show highest in lowest point gradient obtained highest. By comparing for onset burns predicted experimentally, higher than actual temperature, while lower temperature.
